In today’s vlog we head to Animal Kingdom on our last day of this mini Disney Trip. To avoid some of the crowds, we head back toward Dinoland U.S.A and board a time rover to the Cretaceous Period on Dinosaur. Then, we head under the Tree of Life to see It’s Tough to be a Bug! While we’re there, we take advantage of a fun “Tiny World” photopass opportunity located right next to the attraction. Wait times are low this time of year, so we decide to take advantage of that and ride Flight of Passage with a 20 minute wait! Since we’re already in Pandora, we take a short trip on Na’vi River Journey, and order some lunch from Satu’li Canteen. Finally, it’s time to take a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris! We saw so many animals this time around, including the much anticipated lions. It’s definitely best to ride this attraction early in the day, late at night, or when it is raining/overcast. This is when you’ll see the most animals and when they are most active! Then it’s time for one last visit with Simba over at Festival of the Lion King before it’s time to head out and go home 🙁 We hope you enjoyed this video! Thanks so much for watching and, as always, keep on wishing!

*Disclaimer: Disney safety mandates are constantly changing. In this video, we were allowed to take our masks off outside, but were required to wear them indoors, in indoor queues, and on indoor attractions. Stefan and I are both fully vaccinated and felt comfortable removing our masks outdoors when we were able to physically distance ourselves from other groups. For the most up to date information about Disney’s current procedures, please visit their “Know Before You Go” website (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/experience-updates/)

A Wild Day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

In today’s vlog, we spend the day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! First, we take a journey down the rivers of Pandora in Navi River Journey. After a brief pit stop to visit our favorite bug friends in It’s Tough to be a Bug, we ride Expedition Everest for the first time EVER! Then, for the main event, we get in line to see the return of the Festival of the Lion King. After waiting 45 minutes, we make it into the 12:30 show, and finally get to experience this show again after missing it for 2 years! After drying our tears, we head back to Pandora to ride Flight of Passage. Then, we take brief trip back in time in DINOSAUR. By the time we exit our time rover, it’s time for us to head home. We hope you enjoyed this video! Thanks so much for watching, and as always, keep on wishing!

*Disclaimer: Disney mask mandates are constantly changing. In this video, we were allowed to take our masks off outside, but were required to wear them indoors, in line and on attractions. Stefan and I are both fully vaccinated and felt comfortable removing our masks outdoors when the crowds were light and we were able to physically distance ourselves from other groups.

Episode 10: The Disney Holiday Wrap-Up

Can you believe it? We’ve reached 10 episodes! That’s ten weeks spent recording and editing – and loving every minute of it! This week’s episode is another fairly even split, with the first half covering the remainder of the important news – including two unfortunate incidents at Magic Kingdom, an update on “infantile” Star Wars merch, Disney movie milestones, and resort/DVC news. The second half covers what to do during the holidays in the final two parks in our Holiday In the Parks series – Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

To the listeners and fans, to all the family and friends who have subscribed and given us encouragement as we go along, THANK YOU! We are overjoyed to share our Disney passion with you all.

Episode 6: Thanksgiving Dishes and New Years Wishes

Wow! Episode 6 and counting – good to see all your friendly faces again! Housekeeping for this week brings a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge topic out of the archives once again, followed by a quick update on what we watched first on Disney Plus! We then spend the proper amount of time introducing and discussing our favorite blogger, and agreeing with her opinions on everything. For the news, Disney announces some interesting and semi-affordable special event dining options to usher in the New Year. Finally, we consider the best places to enjoy a ‘Thanksgiving meal’ at Disney.

As is tradition at this point, a million thank yous to all who listen to our podcast! We are so happy to welcome you into our Disney family, while we share thoughts and laughter over the best topic ever!

Episode 5: In Disney Plus We Trust

Who would have thought that we’d already be at episode number 5! Welcome, one and all! In this week’s housekeeping, we are very excited to announce our upcoming “family” trip, next April. Following this, the first story is one that will break the internet – literally! With the release of Disney Plus looming, we learn all about what we can come to expect, regarding shows, pricing, and bundles! Chestnuts roast on open fires, as we discuss some more fresh-announced Holiday shows and merchandise. We end the episode by putting a neat bow on the final day of our recent September trip; where Jenn and her mother took a jaunt through Animal Kingdom, before heading home.

And of course, we never want to neglect the opportunity to say how overwhelmingly grateful we are, to have listeners as awesome as you. It brings us boundless joy to know you are out there! Thank you!

Episode 3: Food for Thought

Wonderful to see you all, again, thanks for lending us your ears! This week’s episode is a little longer: we just had SO much to talk about! We start with a little “housekeeping”; clearing up some things from last week’s episode, and looking to our trip on the horizon! Next, we voice our disapproval of the FuelRod debacle. Afterwards, our discussion turns to future updates to Star Tours in Hollywood Studios, and the return of a dining event to Animal Kingdom. The second half of the episode follows our take on some of the 2019 Food and Wine Festival booths, and wraps up with a story and request to all: Cast Members are people too — honor them with a Cast Compliment!

Thank you all, again, for your continued support! It means the world! Thanks for listening, we hope you enjoy!
