Episode 17: There’s Always My Way

Mice Chat for this week focuses on some small changes to our upcoming trips. Lots of big news is covered this week, from a surprising film adaptation of a popular Broadway show, as well as some enticing news in the Marvel arena, both on TV and in the parks – which inspires some energized discussion of certain Marvel character’s futures! This week’s discussion brings us a few steps forward in time to the Colonial Era, as we explore the many attractions and food options Liberty Square has to offer – including a spooky favorite ride of Jenn’s, and one of our all-time-favorite never-before-mentioned (joking!) dining options.

Episode 16: Comin’ Round the Mountains

In this week’s Mice Chat, we begin with an update to the shows Stefan watched, followed by some great info on Disney Deals (this time more than a few days that are few and far between)! News this week covers a wide variety of topics; from international park shut-downs, to updates to various Star Wars franchises, and a sneak peek at the new Epcot nighttime show! Our discussion for the week brings us to the wildest part of the Magic Kingdom: Frontierland! Here we delve into the one place to get a bite, and what we think is the best way to ride a Disney roller coaster. Check out the links below for more details!

Episode 15: Here There Be Pirates

Many things are covered in this week’s Mice Chat, including our brief review of Little Women, a correction regarding last week’s episode, and the opening of the Festival of the Arts in Disney World, and the Rise of the Resistance Ride in Disneyland. We keep the news short this week, touching on the new food to be found at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, and the surprise update to the France pavillion in Epcot. Continuing our new discussion series, this week we take a deep dive into the jungles of Adventureland, and what attractions, food, and fun await you there!

Episode 14: The Beat on the Street

We start off the episode this week with an ever-so-slight change to our episode format: from now on Housekeeping will be called Mice Chat! Also, Disneyland gets a little busier as their version of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens. Disneyland is also celebrating the start of this year’s Lunar New Year event, for the Year of the “Mouse”! Lastly, this week we also start a new discussion series, where we will be taking an in-depth look at each land in each of the parks, starting with Main Street, U.S.A!

Episode 13: Diving Into the Unknown

It’s the dawn of a new decade, and we can only imagine how much Disney awaits us in the years to come! We ring in the new year with an episode covering a lot of “Unknowns”! In the updates for our upcoming trips – we will experience both a new hotel, and new dining reservations. We then give our “hot” take on Frozen II – does it live up to the hype? Our news this week covers an interesting new dining experience coming to Epcot this winter, followed by a surprising new Run Disney announcement. The episode is concluded by discussing a event we have not gone to, (but wish we could); the International Festival of the Arts in Epcot.

To those we missed over the break, Happy New Year! And to everyone who has returned, thank you for listening — we’re glad you followed us into 2020, and are excited to see what the future has in store! May you be blessed with health, happiness, and as much Disney as you can get!

Episode 12: A New Disney Decade

We are back with our final episode of 2019, where we instead flip the focus on upcoming 2020. For housekeeping, we have a small update to our April trip, and give a spoiler-free review of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Our news items for 2020 include a potential FastPass Upcharge system to be rolled out alongside Disney’s trip planning application, some of the movies and shows coming to screens this year, and information regarding the Avenger’s Campus which is set to open this summer in Disney California Adventure. Our final 2019 show comes to a close with a discussion that focuses on some of our New Year’s “resolutions” (strictly Disney-related)!

Finally: we would be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to reflect on our year, and how far we’ve come in so short a time, and say THANK YOU to all the friends and family who have supported us on this endeavor! Your encouragement is always appreciated. Here’s to a great year, and another on the horizon. Happy New Year, everyone!

Episode 11: Our 2019 Favorites

Welcome, listeners, to episode 11! We’d like to wish you all a very happy Holiday Season! This week’s episode is a little shorter, but still packed with greatness! For news, we start by touching on what went well on-screen this year, and what was flopped. Then, we eagerly delve into the upcoming lineup for the “Garden Rocks” Concert series at the 2020 Flower & Garden Festival. After the news, with the holiday season in full effect, and the end of the year fast approaching, we wanted to take some time to recap some of our “favorites” from 2019.

Speaking of 2019 favorites; we’d like to give a big shout-out to all our followers, family, and friends! Thank you for supporting us in our passion, as we continue to share our Disney journey! 2019 has been a wonderful year, and we can’t wait to see what 2020 will bring!

Episode 10: The Disney Holiday Wrap-Up

Can you believe it? We’ve reached 10 episodes! That’s ten weeks spent recording and editing – and loving every minute of it! This week’s episode is another fairly even split, with the first half covering the remainder of the important news – including two unfortunate incidents at Magic Kingdom, an update on “infantile” Star Wars merch, Disney movie milestones, and resort/DVC news. The second half covers what to do during the holidays in the final two parks in our Holiday In the Parks series – Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

To the listeners and fans, to all the family and friends who have subscribed and given us encouragement as we go along, THANK YOU! We are overjoyed to share our Disney passion with you all.

Episode 9: Entirely Too Much News!

In our ninth episode, we are faced with an unexpected dilemma – too much news, too little time! Without any ado, we jump right into it. Most of the news fits into two categories: things that are now available to the public, and things that will soon be available. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is finally open, and will be soon followed by Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway railway. Things to note are new films, adventures, and restaurants that are coming to EPCOT. Similarly, Hollywood Studios is gaining restaurants and a theater — and we hear of a “Galactic Starcruiser” looming in the distance.

In case they haven’t heard it enough, our listeners, friends, and family are what keep us going through all of this. Thank you all so much for the love and support, and for letting us know you’re listening!

Episode 8: Our Ideas For Disney

Episode 8 is here at last! We start by giving thanks to a listener. Following this, our brief Disney + update sparks a discussion on where Disney gets their ideas. In the news, we remark on a Star Wars item that may or may not currently be on the shelf in Hollywood Studios. Nearby, the new Star Wars ride is set to have its opening live-streamed. In the meantime, Disney faces an anti-trust complaint overseas as a chart-topping box office movie finds success. The episode is finalized with a brief review of what one might do in EPCOT this year, during the winter holiday season.

It can’t be stressed enough: we are so thankful for all of our listeners, (both new and returning). Your positive feedback and well wishes warms our hearts, and continues to inspire us on this journey.
