In today’s video, we take you to Sesame Place for The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular! The Halloween fun starts as soon as we arrive. The entire area is decorated for the season, and right away we get to see the Neighborhood Street Party Halloween Parade. We were so impressed by this show! There were so many floats and characters, and the music was so much fun! It’s the perfect way to see all of your favorite Sesame Street friends in one place! Next, we spend some time Trick-or-Treating around the park. There were plenty of Trick-or-Treat stations around, and all of the treats were included in the price of admission! We decided the adults needed a little treat too, so we headed over to the Garden Grill that was serving up some delicious beverages! We got to try the Spooky Punch and the Freaky OJ. They also had adult beverages for purchase, and cookie decorating for the kids! Then, it was time for our reservation to Dine with Elmo & Friends! This was a great little character meal, with an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet, plus physically distant meet and greets with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and The Count, and a dance party! Afterwards, it was time to take a stab at the Sesame Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt. The goal is to find all 6 scarecrows around the park and count the number of crows! Then, you get to redeem your scavenger hunt finds for a special prize. Finally, it was time to go home. We had a great time at this event, and Sesame Place really went all out for the season! The best part is that all of this is included in your regular day admission, except for the Character Dine-in meal. It’s a great option for those in the Philadelphia area to celebrate Halloween. If you’ve been to The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular, let us know in the comments! Thanks so much for watching, and as always, keep on wishing!

Episode 21: Bees Will Buzz

This week Mice Chat focuses on our reaction to the new parade “Magic Happens” which premiered at Disneyland park on February 28th. We also touch on what it might mean to cancel your upcoming Disney trip during this unprecedented time of pandemic. In the news, we enjoy a newly released Jungle Cruise trailer, and touch briefly on some of the things the Orlando Theme Parks are doing to promote health and safety at this time. Our big topic for discussion today revolves around the 2020 Flower Garden Festival, including the sights and tastes that can be experienced there.

Episode 20: A Toast to the West Coast

We keep it brief for this week’s Mice Chat, with some short opinions on a couple of episodes from some of the exciting new series that can be found on Disney+. Many big things are happening in the news this week as a major change happens in Disney leadership, the Corona epidemic starts to affect Disney, and some eventful things happen with a couple rides in Disney World! Episode 14: The Beat on the Street

We start off the episode this week with an ever-so-slight change to our episode format: from now on Housekeeping will be called Mice Chat! Also, Disneyland gets a little busier as their version of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens. Disneyland is also celebrating the start of this year’s Lunar New Year event, for the Year of the “Mouse”! Lastly, this week we also start a new discussion series, where we will be taking an in-depth look at each land in each of the parks, starting with Main Street, U.S.A!

Episode 7: No Spoilers, For Goodness’ Sake

We are back with Episode 7, and boy is it a doozy! To start, (in what we’re apparently still calling the Housekeeping section), we give an update on what we’ve now watched on Disney +, and also share our brief opinions on a movie we saw over the weekend. Up next, Epcot’s 4th annual (almost 40-day-long) Festival of the Arts starts in January, and boasts fun activities, Broadway musicians, and great food. The remainder of this week’s episode starts our December mini-series, where we explore how one might enjoy spending the winter holidays in each park. In this episode, Jenn paints a portrait of the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom in wintertime, and we review all the delectable treats the kingdom has to offer.

As always, to all of you; our friends and family, who continue to tune in every week, thank you for your continued support! We appreciate each of you, and are so glad you are giving us a listen!

Episode 6: Thanksgiving Dishes and New Years Wishes

Wow! Episode 6 and counting – good to see all your friendly faces again! Housekeeping for this week brings a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge topic out of the archives once again, followed by a quick update on what we watched first on Disney Plus! We then spend the proper amount of time introducing and discussing our favorite blogger, and agreeing with her opinions on everything. For the news, Disney announces some interesting and semi-affordable special event dining options to usher in the New Year. Finally, we consider the best places to enjoy a ‘Thanksgiving meal’ at Disney.

As is tradition at this point, a million thank yous to all who listen to our podcast! We are so happy to welcome you into our Disney family, while we share thoughts and laughter over the best topic ever!

Episode 5: In Disney Plus We Trust

Who would have thought that we’d already be at episode number 5! Welcome, one and all! In this week’s housekeeping, we are very excited to announce our upcoming “family” trip, next April. Following this, the first story is one that will break the internet – literally! With the release of Disney Plus looming, we learn all about what we can come to expect, regarding shows, pricing, and bundles! Chestnuts roast on open fires, as we discuss some more fresh-announced Holiday shows and merchandise. We end the episode by putting a neat bow on the final day of our recent September trip; where Jenn and her mother took a jaunt through Animal Kingdom, before heading home.

And of course, we never want to neglect the opportunity to say how overwhelmingly grateful we are, to have listeners as awesome as you. It brings us boundless joy to know you are out there! Thank you!

Episode 4: Swooning Over Star Wars

Hello, and welcome once again to our show! To make up for running over in last week’s episode, this week’s show is a little shorter! Our first bit of news is cause for celebration as a “bad call” mentioned last week gets reversed! Following this, we crack on with some “’tis the season”-al news, as well as briefly mention our F&WF experience in Disneyland. Rounding out the episode, we discuss our experience ‘not too long ago, in the state far far South’ — and how we were over the moon about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Finally, we really want to just say thank you, again, to everyone. It’s wonderful to know that there are so many of you out there who are interested in what we have to say! We hope you enjoy the show!

Episode 3: Food for Thought

Wonderful to see you all, again, thanks for lending us your ears! This week’s episode is a little longer: we just had SO much to talk about! We start with a little “housekeeping”; clearing up some things from last week’s episode, and looking to our trip on the horizon! Next, we voice our disapproval of the FuelRod debacle. Afterwards, our discussion turns to future updates to Star Tours in Hollywood Studios, and the return of a dining event to Animal Kingdom. The second half of the episode follows our take on some of the 2019 Food and Wine Festival booths, and wraps up with a story and request to all: Cast Members are people too — honor them with a Cast Compliment!

Thank you all, again, for your continued support! It means the world! Thanks for listening, we hope you enjoy!
