In today’s vlog we take on Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival for 2021. We make it to 6 booths this time around. But before we try any food, we check in on the Harmonious barge construction. The barges are starting to reach their final stages of construction. While we don’t love the way these barges look in World Showcase Lagoon, we’re still excited to see the final product in the fall. We also take some time to play Remy’s Hide and Squeak! We only show you two locations (we don’t want to give away all of the surprises!), but this is such a fun activity to try while you spend the day enjoying the festival. Now, onto the food! Our first stop is Earth Eats for one of our favorite festival items: The Impossible Burger Slider. Next, we need some refreshment, so we stop over at Shimmering Sips for their delicious mimosa flight (Includes the Tropical Mimosa, the Key Lime Mimosa, and the Blood Orange Mimosa). We then make our way to another festival favorite, the Hawaii booth! You know we had to get the famous Kalua Pork Slider. We also got one of the newer items, the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which is also part of Emile’s Fromage Montage treat trail. To wash it down, we tried the Kona Brewing Co. Hanalei Island IPA. We head back from the islands and trek over to Mexico for a whole gauntlet of items: the Chilaquiles con Chorizo, Taco de Ribeye, Capirotada de Chocolate, and an El Tigre Margarita. We step out of our comfort zones a little bit with the next booth, the Swanky Saucy Swine and try the Roasted Porchetta. Lastly, for a boozy dessert, we head over to Ireland and enjoy the Guinness Bailey Shake before we enjoy a showing of Epcot Forever. What an amazing evening at Epcot! We can’t wait to come back and try some more items at this year’s festival. We hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks so much for watching and, as always, keep on wishing!
*Disclaimer: Disney safety mandates are constantly changing. In this video, we were allowed to take our masks off outside, but were required to wear them indoors, in indoor queues, and on indoor attractions. Stefan and I are both fully vaccinated and felt comfortable removing our masks outdoors when we were able to physically distance ourselves from other groups.
