magic kingdom

It’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow at Magic Kingdom!

In today’s vlog, we spend the afternoon of our Magic Kingdom Day exploring all of the attractions in Tomorrowland! But we can’t start the afternoon off right without a Starbucks and a bunch of Cavalcades coming down Main Street. Afterwards, we head over to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin to try our best to become Galactic Heroes. Then, we finally board the Peoplemover for the first time in forever (seriously!). After a quick trip to space on Space Mountain, we visit our favorite family as they travel through the 20th Century on Carousel of Progress. Finally, we take a leisurely evening drive on the Tomorrowland Speedway to check out MORE Tron construction. With Tomorrowland conquered, and a brief change in plans, we decide to get dinner at Sleepy Hollow with a Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich and a Corndog! As the sun sets, we take a trip on the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We end the night with a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. all lit up for the night. It was the perfect end to a perfect day! We hope you enjoyed this video, and we hope you’ll join us for our next video where we review our newest favorite restaurant The Wave of American Flavors! Thanks so much for watching, and as always, keep on wishing!

*Disclaimer: This footage was filmed before Disney lifted its restrictions in regards to masking. We were allowed to take our masks off outside, but were required to wear them in line and on attractions. Stefan and I are both fully vaccinated and felt comfortable removing our masks when the crowds were light and we were able to physically distance ourselves from other groups.

Episode 31: Making Today a Perfect Day

Surprisingly, we have another news-filled week again! Mice Chat covers our tenth week in Quarantine, with some updates for our potential trip in July. In the news, we once again hear from our girl Carlye Wisel, who updates us on a major leadership change within Disney. We also take a deep dive into the finally re-opened Disney Springs, and get a POV on what was being offered that first day. A final piece of news informs us that Universal announced its plans to re-open as well, and gives some insight on what they intend to do regarding Health and Safety practices. Wrapping up the episode we take a nostalgic trip to pre-pandemic and what we would do during an ultimate visit to Magic Kingdom.

Episode 7: No Spoilers, For Goodness’ Sake

We are back with Episode 7, and boy is it a doozy! To start, (in what we’re apparently still calling the Housekeeping section), we give an update on what we’ve now watched on Disney +, and also share our brief opinions on a movie we saw over the weekend. Up next, Epcot’s 4th annual (almost 40-day-long) Festival of the Arts starts in January, and boasts fun activities, Broadway musicians, and great food. The remainder of this week’s episode starts our December mini-series, where we explore how one might enjoy spending the winter holidays in each park. In this episode, Jenn paints a portrait of the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom in wintertime, and we review all the delectable treats the kingdom has to offer.

As always, to all of you; our friends and family, who continue to tune in every week, thank you for your continued support! We appreciate each of you, and are so glad you are giving us a listen!

Episode 1: Welcome to the Mouse Ears and Wishes Podcast

We finally did it – we made our first podcast episode! Inside, we discuss a little bit of our Disney background from childhood to adulthood. We also touch on some recent Disney news, which both takes us Sky high (see what we did there?) and also finds us planning future couch potato sessions . Finally we wrap things up with Jenn answering some Disney tag questions, and Stefan having a hard time choosing his favorites.

Thank you for visiting! We hope you enjoy!
